Security deposit
A security deposit may be required as part of the hiring agreement to cover any damages or additional cleaning costs incurred, this is refunded the following Monday if items are collected in original condition.
Booking fee
A 50% non-refundable booking fee is payable to secure your booking. No bookings or dates will be held until the booking fee has been received. Until the booking fee has been received, we reserve the right to liaise with other clients for the same event date and equipment. Please check before paying the booking fee to ensure the desired event date is still available. By paying a booking fee the client understands and agrees to the Terms & Conditions of hire.
Payment
Full payment is due 7 days before hire date.
Quotes
Quotes are valid for 7 days. We reserve the right to adjust prices on any items once the quote has expired. No bookings are secured until the booking fee is received.
Hire period
Hire period is 2-4 hours unless arranged otherwise.
Cancellation
The non-refundable booking fee will be forfeited in the case of cancellations.
Cancellations within 7 days of booking will incur full hire fee to be charged.
Responsibilities of the Hiring Party during event
All hire equipment from drop off to pick up is your responsibility and any damage caused must be paid for in full.
In the case of wet weather it is the customer’s responsibility to have a backup plan and undercover option. All items must be stored securely, safely and out of the weather during your hire period to avoid a damage/cleaning fee. No refunds will be issued in the case of bad weather.
Candles are for decoration only and not to be lit. A cleaning and repair fee of $200+ will be charged if this is not followed.
The hiring party agrees to ensure that the picnic site and equipment is left in a tidy condition after use. All rubbish generated during the hire period must be collected and properly disposed of by the hiring party.
The hiring party agrees to comply with all applicable regulations and laws regarding waste management, cleanliness, environmental protection and public spaces.
These conditions of hire aim to ensure that the picnic site is kept clean and well-maintained for the enjoyment of all users and to minimise the impact on the surrounding environment
Liability
The hire company shall in no way be held responsible or accountable for any damage, injury, death or loss of income caused to the client, any third parties or properties due to the hire of equipment or provided services by the hire company. All equipment is hired and is the responsibility of the client until returned to the hire company.
